Despite the introduction of many new immunosuppressive medications, allograft rejection remains a significant complication in transplantation. A contributing factor could be poor study design or quality of biospecimen repositories.
Understanding this could lead to better treatments, improved diagnostics, or a deeper grasp of how the human body works — benefiting patient care globally.
