The treatment of patients with advanced gynecologic malignancies remains challenging. The adoption of targeted therapeutics for the treatment of gynecologic cancers has been gradual, but we have started to see the rapid employment of novel targeted agents into clinical trial development, leading to new treatment approvals.
Understanding this could lead to better treatments, improved diagnostics, or a deeper grasp of how the human body works — benefiting patient care globally.
