About This Scholarship
Türkiye Bursları is the flagship international scholarship program of the Turkish government, offering comprehensive scholarships to international students who wish to pursue Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degrees at top Turkish universities.
Launched in 2012, the program hosts students from 180+ countries every year, making it one of the largest international scholarship programs in the world.
Benefits include:
- Full tuition fee waiver at any Turkish state university
- Monthly stipend: TRY 5,500 (undergraduate), TRY 6,500 (Master's), TRY 7,500 (PhD)
- Free university accommodation
- One-time round-trip airfare
- Health insurance
- Mandatory 1-year Turkish language course (paid for by the program)

Programme covers all academic disciplines including engineering, medicine, social sciences, humanities, fine arts, and more at over 100 Turkish universities.
Eligibility Requirements
- Citizen of any country except Turkey (Turkish citizens and those with dual Turkish citizenship are not eligible)
- Age limits: under 21 (undergraduate), under 30 (Master's), under 35 (PhD)
- Academic achievement: minimum 70% grade (undergraduate/Master's), 75% (medicine/dentistry/pharmacy), 75% (PhD)
- No age waiver for medicine-related programs
- Must apply online through the official Türkiye Bursları portal during the open application window
- Applicants may be called for an interview
