About This Scholarship

The Rhodes Scholarship is the oldest and most celebrated international fellowship award in the world, established in 1902 by the will of Cecil John Rhodes. It brings exceptional students from around the world to the University of Oxford.

The 2027 cycle invites outstanding young people from over 60 eligible countries to apply for fully funded postgraduate study at Oxford. Rhodes Scholars form a global fellowship of over 8,000 alumni who are committed to making a difference in the world.

The scholarship covers:
- University and college fees at Oxford
- Monthly living stipend (approximately £17,310 per year)
- Economy class airfare to and from Oxford
- Arrival allowance
- Medical insurance
- Thesis and fieldwork grants (where applicable)

Scholars can pursue any full-time postgraduate degree offered at Oxford, including Master's, MBA, MPhil, MSc, DPhil (PhD), and many professional degrees.
